Mysore demonstrates why an accession needs more than one date. The Wadiyar foundation records a signature on 9 August and acceptance on 16 August 1947. This pilot follows that account for its end-of-day snapshot, provisionally. Accession did not itself erase Mysore’s separate internal administration. [1]
